Families & Community Invited to Marana Winds Community Concert

The Marana Winds invites the community to enjoy a free musical concert on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 7:00pm in the auditorium at Mountain View High School! Guest ensemble The Marana Big Phat Jazz Band, a group of jazz musicians who formed from the Marana Winds, will also be a part of the performance. This exciting evening of music will feature a variety of wind ensemble compositions performed by Marana district staff, alumni, students, and community members.

About Marana Winds

Formed in 2013, Marana Winds musical group consists of talented musicians who have joined together to share their love of music with the community and to help raise money for Marana schools. Offering a FREE concert to the public each spring, Marana Winds represents and supports Marana Schools, while continuing to perform in honor of the original Founder Todd Ponder. Marana Winds is produced through the support of the Marana Schools’ 2340 Foundation and the Marana Unified School District.
