CTE Welding Students Weld New Sign for MHS!

The athletic ticket booth at Marana High School needed official signage, so MHS staff enlisted the talented Career and Technical Education welding students for the job. Painted in MHS blue and gold, the sign has bright backlighting for night-time games and events. MHS and event staff  are grateful for the hard work the students put into creating this project, and say it came out even better than they expected!

The Award-winning Career and Technical Education programs in the Marana Unified School districts prepare students to enter the workforce with the academic and career skills needed to compete successfully in the job market. 

The two-year welding program offers a comprehensive curriculum encompassing various welding techniques, metallurgy, blueprint reading, and safety protocols. Students acquire hands-on experience in diverse welding methods applicable across multiple industries, including manufacturing, construction, aerospace, and automotive sectors. With opportunities to earn industry-recognized certifications, graduates possess dynamic skills and are well-prepared for fulfilling careers in welding and fabrication, enjoying a wide array of job opportunities in the market.
