Principal

I am honored to continue serving as the proud principal of Marana High School. This is my fourth year as principal and my seventh year at MHS, where I also served as an Associate Principal for three years. Before becoming principal at MHS, I was principal at Gladden Farms Elementary and have served as a teacher, counselor, coach, and administrator in another district.
At Marana High, we believe that all students can learn and that deep, lasting learning happens through active, hands-on engagement. Our focus remains on building safe, supportive classrooms where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
We are proud to be a High Reliability School, certified in Levels 1 and 2, and this year, we are working toward Level 3 certification in Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our many recent accomplishments. MHS was recognized as Best School, and I was honored as Best Principal in the Best of the Northwest awards. Our Class of 2025 earned over $10 million in scholarships, with students heading to Division I athletics, military academies, and colleges nationwide.
We are also incredibly proud of our staff, including teachers recognized as the Metro Education Commission’s Teacher of the Year and a UA Amazing Teacher finalist. Our educators are innovative, dedicated, and deeply committed to student success.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband and our son. We enjoy camping, off-roading, and cheering on the Wildcats—I'm a proud three-time UA alum. Though I grew up in Yuma, Marana truly feels like home.
I look forward to another amazing year of growth, celebration, and partnership. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, I’m here to collaborate to support all students.
