Principal

I am very honored to serve as the proud principal of Marana High School. I had a great first year as the principal at MHS. Prior to returning to Marana High School, I served as the principal of Gladden Farms Elementary School for two years. Before serving at Gladden Farms, I was an Associate Principal at MHS for three years. I have also served as a teacher, counselor, athletic coach, and administrator in another district prior to my work in MUSD.

As an educator, I believe all students can learn and I believe that deeper learning happens when students are given hands-on experiences and truly interact with the content. I look forward to working with our student and staff leadership groups to help ensure every classroom is safe, supportive, and offers plenty of opportunities for students to learn and grow.

I believe that when a school provides safety, consistency, and opportunities for error and growth, that school can help students to realize and reach their full potential. Positive Behavior Intervention & Support (PBIS) is one way that we provide consistency and high expectations for our students. Each day we ask our students to be respectful, responsible, and safe.

When I am not at school, I love to spend time with my husband and our son. We enjoy camping, off-roading, fishing, and spending time with our parents. I am a proud Wildcat Alumni, times three! I still enjoy visiting the University and attending sporting events throughout the year. Growing up in Yuma, AZ, Marana brings such a feel of home and community. I am extremely proud to serve MUSD and our students.
